12/25-Merry Christmas!!!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! We had a blast even though we were up at 5:00am!! Griffin was just way too excited. He even went to bed early without being asked!!! Taylor loves her cellphone. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me because I looked like someone punched me in the eye (it feels like it too). I was playing a computer game last evening when I rubbed my eye and thought wow that really hurts. Low and behold I looked in the mirror and my left eyelid was pink and swollen. I woke up this morning with my eye swollen and half shut worse than last night. As I am typing this it does feel a little better but the swelling has moved from the corner of my eye to the outside corner and under my eye. I thought of going to the ER this morning at 6:30 but decided against. I don't think it's pink eye because I don't have any discharge. So I keep putting on a warm compress once in awhile and it does feel better. (The more I am on the computer the worse it is feeling though.)

We're off shopping tomorrow. I promised Griffin a new winter coat and he could've used it the other day when it was -6 degrees with a wind chill of -21 or some crazy thing like that. I hope we find some good deals.

11/21-Some artwork

Here is a note board I made for my club girls. For some reason it won't let me flip the picture. Hopefully I'll have more artwork for you by the end of the weekend.

11/21-What's New?

So this is what's new. Hard to believe last Friday it was 60 degrees outside. We have about 8-10 inches and still more to come.

11/5/08-Long time

So it's been awhile since I posted anything. Nothing really new going on. I've been sick since Saturday with a cold so I really haven't felt like doing anything. The most I did last weekend was laundry. The weather has been just beautiful. It's been 70 the last few days but it's suppose to start dropping again by Saturday it should be our normal November weather.

10/13-What a wonderful weekend

So this weekend we went to the Cross Country Invitational. We had such gorgeous weather (see picture).

Then we went to a couple pumpkin festivals on Sunday. We went to Peak N Peek (a ski lodge) and rode the ski lift and checked out their arts & crafts and car show. Then left there and went to a pumpkin farm in Waterford. I miss Finney's so much. It was free and there was always something for everyone. Waterford was ok but we had to pay to get in and it was oriented more towards kids. Not a lot of fall arrangements and no gift shop (like Finney's). The kids had a ball at both so that was worth it. The pictures at the top are from the ski lift. These pictures really doesn't do the colors justice. (I can't get them larger sorry).

10/8/08-HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Today is my husband's birthday. The kids and I made a cake with his favorite frosting and we will be ordering his favorite pizza tonight for supper. Tonight is our busy night so we'll be running around and passing each other on the way in/out the door.

Next Thursday is our Anniversary. 15 years. I cannot believe it. It has gone by so fast.

Well that's all for now. I will be working on some layouts for my crop on 10/18. With the registration fee they will get a free 1 page layout to work on. I will have everything cut out and all they will have to do is assemble it.

9/24-Another week gone!

I thought I would've had some page layouts to post this weekend but that didn't happen. I cleaned my house and did laundry. It was a good weekend but I didn't get any "fun things" done.

I have my club this Friday and Saturday and then my son has Punt, Pass, and Kick on Saturday. The weather has been so nice I hope it holds out.

Again I've been running here and there. Flag football has started so I have been running my son there 2 days a week and then my daughter has dance on Wednesday's so my Wednesday's will consist on running kids to where they need to go. Things will slow down just as Cross Country season comes to a close (for those of you who don't know my husband coaches cross country) when my husband could help running kids here and there.

Next Saturday (10/4) is Applefest in Franklin. Lots of things going on then. We'll be there bright an early to watch my husband run the 5k race. I love this time of year, the leaves are starting to change, and the fall decorations are starting to appear.
