9/24-Another week gone!

I thought I would've had some page layouts to post this weekend but that didn't happen. I cleaned my house and did laundry. It was a good weekend but I didn't get any "fun things" done.

I have my club this Friday and Saturday and then my son has Punt, Pass, and Kick on Saturday. The weather has been so nice I hope it holds out.

Again I've been running here and there. Flag football has started so I have been running my son there 2 days a week and then my daughter has dance on Wednesday's so my Wednesday's will consist on running kids to where they need to go. Things will slow down just as Cross Country season comes to a close (for those of you who don't know my husband coaches cross country) when my husband could help running kids here and there.

Next Saturday (10/4) is Applefest in Franklin. Lots of things going on then. We'll be there bright an early to watch my husband run the 5k race. I love this time of year, the leaves are starting to change, and the fall decorations are starting to appear.

Hope everyone has a great week! Hopefully I'll post something this weekend.

9/16-UUUUGGGGHHH

So hurricane Ike decided to swing by Sunday night leaving a bunch of us here powerless. We haven't had electric since Sunday night around 9PM when we were in the middle of watching the Steelers game. So far it's been a challenge. We are out of water, I think my fridge food is gone it smelt a little funny this morning, and I have a headache on top of it all. I called the insurance company to start a claim on the fridge stuff. I have to take inventory on that tonight, just want I want to do. Jeff has a XC meet tonight so the kids and I are headed to that right after work/school. It's in Titusville so no traveling involved. Griffin starts flag football tomorrow, Taylor has dance, I have class-ugh does the madness ever end. We don't have plans this weekend so it looks like grocery shopping and cleaning my fridge are on my agenda, along with laundry. Should I say I'm looking forward to the weekend? What a mess!!! Life has to get better doesn't it. I do have to say though, I NEVER want to be in a hurrican. The winds were the worst I have ever seen them on Sunday night. It never rained until much later and it was 80 degrees at 9PM. The trees whipping around were very scarey and we didn't even have half the winds that Texas did, but I wouldn't live in a hurricane area. Too scarey.

I have been reading with the electric being out. I am hooked on a series of murder mysteries by Hunter Morgan. I am on the last one and hope I find out who the murder is. Also reading a boring VC Andrews book and I am on the 3rd book of the series Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich. So yes, I am reading 3 books right now.

Well, I'm going back to work now. Hope everyone else is having a better week than I am.

Here's the other side of the room. We sure do know how to make a mess, but at least it's an organized mess.

9/10-HOLY COW

I cannot believe it has been since August that I've posted anything. What is wrong with me!! I'll tell you-LIFE. Since school has started it has been nothing but run, run, run. Tuesday school started, trying to get back into the routine of things. Wednesday after work I got my nails done, Thursday got my hair done, Friday I packed up and left for my retreat and didn't get home until Sunday afternoon. Then I had to catch up on lots of sleep but the phone wouldn't let me! Which takes me to a new work week. Now my exercise classes have begun at the YMCA so I'm there Monday and Wednesdays. Taylor starts dance on Wednesdays now. Starting next week Griffin starts flag football. So that leaves me Thursday to get caught up on things and Friday to relax and Saturday and Sunday to do laundry. I'm tired just typing all this and the weeks not even over yet.

Saturday I'm headed to Erie with my friend Karen to a Crop for a Cure fundraiser for cancer. Lisa (the I'm going to pull an all nighter and drive to Erie girl) Mullen is holding the crop and she plans on doing some neat stuff to honor those who have survived or those we've lost from cancer. I'm hoping to finishing my Disney scrapbook this weekend. I doubt that will happen. I've been working on it since January of 08 when we went.

Here are some pictures from the retreat. Enjoy! (I'm having some difficulties getting my pictures uploaded. I'll try more later)

8/26/08-Nothing new

Nothing new to post. School starts next Tuesday. I think we are ready. Not looking forward to the homework but I am ready to get back into a routine. The kids are nervous but that's understandable, so am I.

I am getting ready for my retreat which is the weekend of 9/5. I am so looking forward to getting some scrapping done and visiting with my friends. I have been working on my Disney album since January. It's time to finish it and move on to something more recent. Like maybe our Michigan trip!!! I will post pictures of the retreat after I get back.

Where has August gone? I can't believe it's just about fall. The mornings are really chilly now and darker. The leaves are already starting to fall!!!! Last week was the Crawford County Fair and as a kid I used to think of that as the last week of summer because school used to start the week after. As an adult, I find that it means the end of summer all together. So sad. Looking forward to fall and all the activities that go with it. I love the cooler days, the pretty colors, cross country season (a big thing my house as my husband is a coach).

Again I'll try to keep this updated better (I know I've said that before) but I will really try and get more pictures posted too.

Have a safe Labor Day everyone (enjoy the extra long weekend)

20 year class reunion

For my cyber friends that's me on the left and my best friend from high school Wendy.

8/13/08

I have been so busy lately, just cleaning up things around the house, baking, etc. The nights just seem to be flying by.

I couldn't post anything this past weekend as my computer got a virus. What a pain. Whoever does these kind of things has way too much time on their hands. They need to do something constructive with their time not destructive!!! I finally got that fixed and was catching up with my cyber-friends with my 370 emails that they sent me.

I'll add a picture of my best friend and I at our 20 year class reunion in a little while. I had a lot of fun. Saw some people I haven't seen in probably 15-20 years. I think we all have aged well and all look good.

I'll try to keep up with posting a little better.

Happy Hump-day everyone!
